Thanks for stopping by. St. Anselm’s is part of the Anglican Church of Canada and we are located on the UBC Endowment Lands. We are a diverse community of people from all ages and backgrounds who come together to worship and serve God. Our church building is wheelchair accessible and you can reach us by public transit. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome here.

Events
Community Garden. Our community garden is almost ready to plant. We’re looking for people who live in the area of the church who don’t have yards and would like to do some gardening. We have 11 plots to rent out for $40/year. On Sunday May 6th we’ll celebrate Rogation Sunday and bless our new garden and seeds as part of this celebration. If you have your own garden, bring your seeds for a blessing.
Garden Plant Sale Fundraiser. Once again we are doing a Mothers Day Plant & Bake Sale for spring. This year you can order tomatoes, strawberries and herbs in addition to flowers. Order forms for the plants are in the Narthex or you can order online at http://stanselms.plants4nonprofit.com. Please share the order form with your friends, co-workers and neighbours. These healthy, reasonably priced plants are something everyone can use at this time of year. Place your order by May 4 and pick up your plants on Mother’s Day, Sun May 12 (great Mother’s Day gifts!). We’re also having a bake sale on May 12th so you can pick up your plants and also get some delicious treats from the Bake Table. Please let Peg know if you would like to help with baking.
Announcements
Sunday school happens each Sunday at the 10:30 am service. Children and youth aged from 3 to 14 are welcome to come and participate.
UBC Students: During term we have a free dinner for UBC students each Sunday evening. All UBC students (whether members of the parish or not) are welcome to attend. But please let us know if you’re coming so we know how much food to buy.
Our meditation group is ongoing Thursday evenings at 7:30. Everyone is welcome to come and join us for discussion on our spiritual practices and simple meditation.
