Rev. Alecia Greenfield, MBA, M.Div.

The Rev’d. Alecia Greenfield will be the new Rector at St Anselm's starting January 1, 2024. Alecia comes to St. Anselm's from Holy Cross where she was Vicar in a Japanese Canadian community. Alecia was also the Regional Dean for the Kingsway Deanery and promoted shared learning opportunities and joint social activities.

She is the Past Chair (and current member) of the Ecclesial Province of British Columbia and Yukon's Social and Eco justice Working Group, Past Chair of the Diocese of New Westminster's Climate Response Committee, and a member of Salal and Cedar. She (virtually) attended COP26 in 2021 with the Canadian ecclesial delegation for the Love of Creation. In 2023, Alecia received the Hiltz scholarship and visited the Holy Lands. During the Season of Creation, she leads local pilgrimages focusing on our connection with local land and spaces. Over the last few years, she has been active in coordinating the Diocese of New Westminster's Mission and Ministry conference.

Alecia has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Investment Funds Institute Course. She has completed two conflict courses at the Justice Institute and holds an MBA. In her spare time, she is a textile artist.

We look forward to welcoming Alecia into our Parish Family in the New Year.
